Praying

I saw this that a friend from church posted. I pray daily that my children sat a good example at school or where ever they are. Importantly, that they are around friends who will guide them in a positive way and towards God. 

We are blessed with a wonderful church: Bentonville First Baptist where they are fully engaged in Awanas, and Sophie's first year of GA's! This year will be Allies first year of Awana's and look forward to seeing her grow in the Lord!

Allie Is Three

Our youngest turned three on 8-9-10! We are beyond blessed with her! She is a miracle! Two weeks after having her I found out I had cancer. Doctors do not know till this day how long I had cancer with her. They did say even if we had found out they could not give me chemo treatments. We are beyond thankful she is a healthy sweet girl! God has blessed us and brought us through so much!

Pinteresting It Up!

I have been going crazy on Pinterest for projects! This week I ordered a Silhouette Cameo! My friend  sold me on it. I saw hers this past weekend and I feel in love. There are so many things I can do with it. Especially with wood, fabrics, etc. I am excited to start using it for my bags and wood projects!!! Below I have attached some pictures of the projects I will be doing when I get it in!

First Grade-Sophie

Sophie started 1st grade August 1st! She has a lovely teacher who we love! Her name is Mrs. Owens! We look forward to a wonderful year with her!

 

 

New Lamp Shade

I refurbished a lamp that I got at Hobby Lobby for super cheap!

Supplies

• Burlap
• Spray Adhesive
• Scissors
• Roll of Burlap on a spool in the ribbon area

It is very easy to do! It was covered in a blue burlap, and I took it off. Once taking it off I put my new burlap on very carefully! Lastly, I put my grey burlap ribbon around it and used the spray adhesive to keep it in place!

Big Projects

I am starting a ton of big projects for our house after the 4th! Some of them include making a dresser, charging stand, and platform bed with headboard for our Master Bedroom. I have the plans from the wonderful Ana White! I love her site!

The kids rooms are getting a lot of new things such as: a long desk, cubbies, and a tall self in Jaxsuns room.

The living room not much but a desk is all it is getting. Maybe a tall book self for all the kids books!

I am ready to get my checklist done!

My Tools Around Here

My tools and I have been busy working and getting along! Making lots of cool knock offs from Pottery Barn! When your a family of five there is no reason to go spend money on expensive furniture. Even if we had it that is not where I would spend it! I'm thankful I was raised around tools lived on a farm growing up! Because now I make our furniture! Love it  so much!
