Kids Farmhouse Table

The table is designed from Ana Whites instructions! The top I will be adding a couple more coats tomorrow! I love how grown up it looks and will match our dining room table!

Here is the link for better instructions:

I like to put my pieces together and mark my holes, and then pre drill the holes (always).

It came together, perfect!

This is the stain I choose to use from Lowe's

First coat

The legs I painted a light grey and distressed it. The top will be finish tomorrow!

Art Play

Sophie had a art extravaganza where her class sang. It was really cute!!!!

Get a pet rock!

Eventful Weekend

Three kids there is something always going on! I keep our kids on the go to keep them busy and myself sane. With the weather so nice we are able to enjoy the square almost everyday. Also, visit the tulips on the square that I am highly obsessed with! Love, love flowers except when Allie gets the notion to yank every petal off. I about died! We have been able to be with a friend and spend time with them! I love how we are so much a like even our past. It is kinda scary, but nice there are people out there like you who have been where you have been in life. Thankful God sends people like them in our life!

Chalk Paint

I had a oak spice rack that needed some help! With Annie Sloan Chalk Paint it makes it look totally different! I also used her Soft Wax for protection.

I also post  a picture of a old sewing table that needed lots of help!

I forgot to take before pictures!

Thankful Thursday

I sit here in peace and quiet, and I look out the window thinking wow what a pretty day God has given us! I have so much to be thankful for! I always find myself most thankful for my children, husband, and life. Then there are others things; hair, friends, taste, makeup, clothes, and a warm place to stay.
