Rachel's Wedding

What a wonderful friend and blessing Rachel has been to our family! Not just Rachel there is Sarah, Courtney, Ronald, Kristen, Paula. Makes me sad that Kristen and Paula does not live close. It was a wonderful time catching up! It brought back memories in high school. Sitting and chatting eating our food like the old days. Rachel has been blessed with a godly hushand named Caleb. I wish them many blessings. I hope this is not the last time we see each other. I hope to see more of these friends! I am trying so hard to convince a few to move to NWA! Love you all, thank you for letting me be help with your wedding!

Pumpkin Patch

Farmland Andventures in Springdale was wonderful! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pumpkin patch! Plus, the pony rides are free and unlimited! They have a short corn maze for the little ones!

Sweet Retreat-Prayer Warriors

Sweet Retreat was where only women came, and they had a wonderful lady speaker!

Not only did she speak, but a lot of prayer went up for everyone in that room! It was a blessing to see everyone get a blessing from it!

Before going I had a lot to do for the kids. Picked Sophie up, and came home. I went and checked the mail, and there was a lovely letter from my cancer place. They had scheduled me a CT Scan. Honestly, I get down about CT Scans because I have to drink 16oz. of buttermilk. I would rather get a PET Scan, where they inject an iodine and you sat and then go do your scan.

It is funny I will remember my scan dates like the back of my hand and stress about it till it happens. Once I go in and come, stress is lifted off. But last night I know I shed so many tears there. I was embarrassed I do not like crying in front of people. Tears of joy for being a live, and here on earth.

Must say the lady was funny, and had many uplifting things at the same time! Here are some that really caught my attention: find new friends, forgive but it is not easy to forget how others have mistreated you, your children come first.

Mrs. Pat

Mrs. Pat, an angel in disguise is how I describe her. This morning for some reason I decided to go to McDonalds and let Allie play. Mrs. Pat sat there all alone, she is about 70 years old? Sweetest old lady I have every meet! We sat and talk for over an hour about life, God, and children. She has lived in Bentonville her whole life. Retired nurse, and has two children. She is someone I look up to a lot, and has went through lots of heartache, but so happy through it all!

People like Mrs. Pat who makes my day, and Thank You God for putting her there today! She had the most encouraging, uplifting spirit!

I think we all need a MRS. PAT in our life!
